  1. Birthplace: Moderately upstate New York

  2. Fave color: Purple; jewel tones are great

  3. Fave drink: Manhattan; non alcoholic fave, orange-mango juice

  4. Fave holiday (official, or not): Martin Luther King Jr. Day

  5. Fave thing to cook: I love cooking. Fave recipes are a Cook’s Country orecchiette pasta with sausage, white beans, and kale, and I’ve been working on perfecting homemade ramen noodles with chashu pork.

  6. Describe yourself using 1 emoji: 😳

  7. When you were a kid, you wanted to be a (occupation, or whatever!): I have absolutely no recollection of ever actually stating a preferred career as a child. I do remember being told that I never brought home craft projects or art in nursery school and when my parents asked why not the teacher said that I spent that time consulting with the other kids and asking about their projects. Which, feels very on brand.

  8. Name something that gives you warm fuzzies: I like a fuzzy sock and a warm cup of tea.

  9. Name a place you want to visit before you die: Bali

  10. Name your top 5 desert island albums: If I am on a desert island how am I listening to albums?! Consistent faves are Patty Griffin, Living With Ghosts, Weird Al Yankovic’s self-titled album, some discs from a definitive Ella Fitzgerald Collection, and whatever I put on my iPod 10+ years ago (Jonatha Brooke, Ben Folds, and, yes, more Weird Al).

  11. Your hero(es) is/are: Still holding out for a hero.

  12. Your house is on fire... what inanimate object do you save?: MY HOUSE. If I have to pick it up and carry it to save it, my Larrivee guitar.

  13. You’ve had a long, hard day… what toppings do you put on your pizza?: Basic is pepperoni and a good amount of cheese. I do love a pepperoni, sausage, bacon situation and I wouldn’t be mad if a Hawaiian one came through, don’t @ me.
